How it works

Over five weeks of part-time learning, you’ll explore how children develop, learn and play, how to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for every child, and how to keep children safe, healthy and happy. You’ll also have support from a dedicated Employability Skills Tutor, who will guide you through writing your CV, applying for jobs and preparing for interviews in the Early Years sector.

This course does ask for your commitment and motivation — but if you’re ready to put in the effort, it can open the door to a brand-new career. When you complete the bootcamp, you’ll be ready to move into a Level 3 Apprenticeship in a local nursery or childcare setting. This will give you valuable hands-on experience and help you take the next step towards a rewarding and lasting career working with children.

No previous experience is needed — just enthusiasm, a caring attitude and a willingness to learn.
