Today marks the official launch of AKG in the UK, a new unified brand that brings together Jobs 22, Healthfind and Learn Plus Us. This milestone reflects a shared commitment to empowering people through employment, education, and health, enabling individuals and communities to thrive.
Our new website, akguk.co.uk, is now live and serves as the central platform for AKG’s integrated offer.
A clearer, more connected future
AKG has grown significantly since its entry into the UK market, supporting tens of thousands of people through personalised employment services, learning programmes, health coaching and behaviour change services. The decision to align our business under one brand strengthens AKG’s ability to deliver seamless, person-centred support and creates a more visible, accessible offer for participants, partners and commissioners.
Ayd Sims, AKG Country Manager and CEO said: “By coming together as AKG, we’re building on the strengths of each organisation. This change enables us to bring our expertise into sharper focus and better respond to the evolving needs of the people we support, our partners and the communities we serve.”
Why this change?
This evolution supports AKG’s ambition to:
- Provide a more joined-up experience for those accessing support
- Increase its visibility with commissioners and partners
- Strengthen its foundation for future growth and collaboration
Importantly, Intuitive Thinking Skills, a specialist part of the AKG family with a unique peer-led coaching model, will retain its individual identity. Intuitive continues to play a key role in delivering behaviour change programmes across the justice, health and employment sectors.
Supporting future growth
This transition comes at a strategically important time. The UK Government’s recent Spending Review signals sustained investment across employment support, skills and justice – with over £3.5 billion committed to employment support by 2028–29 and continued funding for skills and adult learning. This funding is anticipated to be delivered in an increasingly joined up way, ensuring those that need help get the support they need, aligned to their individual needs and within their communities.
AKG is well-placed to respond to these developments. As a unified brand with cross-sector expertise, AKG can now present a stronger offer to commissioners, from Connect to Work and Pathways to Work, to future UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) initiatives and devolved funding opportunities. This brand alignment also supports AKG’s ambitions to expand further into the justice, health and local growth sectors.
Ayd Sims added: “We see opportunities to grow and innovate across a range of sectors, from employability and skills to health and justice. With the AKG brand in place, we’re ready to partner with others to co-create solutions that make a real and lasting difference.”
No disruption, just greater clarity
While branding and names have changed, the services and people behind them have not. Stakeholders, commissioners, partners and participants can continue to work with the same trusted teams, now part of one connected AKG offer.
