Is Destination Work right for me?

Destination Work’ is for people who are not currently seeking work and are not claiming job-seeking-related benefits. This programme could be perfect for you if you claim Benefits such as Employment Support Allowance (ESA), Income Support (IS) or the Universal Credit equivalent if you live in the Warwickshire County Council area.

Destination Work focuses on building confidence and skills for employment, tailoring its approach to meet your individual needs. We understand that everyone’s journey to employment is different, so we’re here to offer flexible support and help you overcome personal and professional challenges.

What can you expect from Destination Work

Personalised support
Work with a dedicated ‘Journey Guide’ who will help you set goals, create action plans, and support you every step of the way.
Workshops and group activities
Take part in group sessions designed to boost your employability skills, including confidence-building, digital skills, financial literacy, and job-matching workshops.
One-on-one guidance
Weekly one-to-one sessions to help you stay focused and on track toward finding a job that’s right for you.
Access to specialist support
Connect to additional services such as mental health support, community services, financial and debt advisory services, and more to ensure you have all the tools you need to succeed.

Am I eligible?

Generally, you will not be in paid employment or actively seeking work. People in this group are often students, taking care of family, long-term sick or disabled, recovering from an illness/operation, retired, or have given up looking for work.

We’ll be able to advise you when you get in touch if you’re eligible for this programme.
