Experienced employment support leader takes on new role as AKG introduces a regional leadership model to support future growth.
AKG Group has announced the appointment of Brian Bell to lead a new regional leadership structure to support its next phase of growth.
Brian will oversee AKG’s businesses in the UK, Canada, Sweden and Italy. He brings more than four decades of experience in the employment support sector and previously held senior leadership roles at senior roles at leading Employability organisations that have helped shape the marketplace that has helped so many people into sustainable work.
Throughout his career, Brian has played an influential role in the development of employment services in the UK, working closely with government and providers to improve the support available to people seeking work. His contribution to the sector was recognised in 2020 when he received the Employment Related Services Association’s (ERSA) Outstanding Contribution to the Sector Award.
His appointment forms part of a wider strategic review by the AKG Board, ensuring its country businesses retain local ownership and accountability while elevating the benefits of shared international expertise and collaboration.
Importantly, Ayden Sims remains UK Country Leader. Ayden will work closely with Brian, and alongside his leadership team, continue to drive the growth of the business and maintain the impact we seek to have in the communities we serve.
