We’re proud to share that AKG UK has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ 2026 by Great Place To Work® UK.
This recognition is based on feedback from our colleagues, making it particularly meaningful. It reflects how people across AKG feel about working here and the support they receive every day.
The award follows our participation in the Great Place To Work survey earlier this year, which achieved an 86% response rate and gave us valuable insight into the experiences of colleagues across the organisation.
Laura Gibbon, Director of People & Culture, said:
“It’s fantastic to receive this recognition, particularly because it comes directly from colleague feedback. The survey showed there are lots of things we’re doing well, but it also highlighted areas where we can improve. That’s exactly how it should be. We’re proud of this achievement, but we’re equally committed to listening and continuing to make AKG an even better place to work.
Looking after wellbeing isn’t something we see as an extra. It’s part of creating a workplace where people feel supported, valued and able to do their best work. This recognition is something we’re proud of, but it’s also a reminder to keep listening and building on what colleagues tell us.”
Creating a workplace where people feel supported, valued and able to thrive is important not only for our colleagues, but also for the long-term success of AKG UK.
When people enjoy working here and feel able to do their best work, it benefits everyone. It helps us attract and retain great people, strengthens teamwork and collaboration, and enables us to deliver the best possible service to the individuals, communities and partners we support.
This recognition reflects the culture we are continuing to build together and reinforces our commitment to making AKG UK a place where people feel proud to work and supported to succeed.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the survey and contributed to this achievement. Your feedback continues to shape how we develop as an organisation and how we support colleagues across AKG UK.
